Up early tomorrow, ugh. Will be flying and/or sitting around airports for almost a solid 24 hours come tomorrow morning so want to get some nice sleeping in. But there is still so much to do! Like staring at everything in my room until I have memorised it perfectly - and before you comment with a 'why didn't you just take a picture?', I shake off your suggestion with a hearty laugh because I don't work the same way you humans do.
Today was mostly last minute stuff like sorting out my International SIM card (it's free for you to call me but not vice versa! Lame :C I would have called you at inconvenient times to remind you how great I am. Like whilst you were "sleeping"), packing several times and trying to make Emerica shirts for the Emerica Games (more on that later). Oh and watching all my favourite movies set in the cities I will soon be frequenting. We only got through three somehow, of the 100,000 because I wasn't home at all this week. But I'm sure Mia Thermopolis, Grace Hart and Ron Burgundy were pleased with the choices.
Time for bed. Kindle is charged, iPod playlists are at the ready and all my valuables - my favourite books, some jewellery, photos I look good in... - have been hidden away, lest a possum with excellent taste sneak through my window whilst I'm gone.
Have a safe flight! Can't wait to hear more about these Emerica Games! With t-shirts! And get lots of rest everyday because you'll need it!
ReplyDeleteWhat's this international SIM thing? Can *I* call? Or are you addressing the American/Emerican audience here?
It is free for absolutely anyone in the entire universe (depending on how many bars you get - I hear signal gets pretty shaky after Pluto) to call me! Buying an international SIM saves you the roaming charges it would have racked up had you taken your regular NZ sim card.
ReplyDeleteAnd unfortunately I didn't have time to make the Emerica tshirts coz I didn't have access to a printer that would allow me to print onto iron-on transfer paper :C BUT THE GAMES SHALL GO ON
