Today we're going to play a game called 'Where's Emma?' It's like 'Where's Wally?', only better. It's all the rage these days - all the kids are playing it.
That's an easy one. Your at Harvard, in the square, though i can't remember the name of the guy in the statue, but from memory it's actually the wrong guy :P
Correct! I am at the John Harvard statue in Harvard Yard! Also known as the Statue of Three Lies (one of which you have already guessed. Do you remember what the other two were?)
It's said to be either a distant relative of Harvard's or perhaps Leonard Hoar since he didn't get a dorm building named after him due to his surname.
lie 1 - he was not the founder of harvard. it was simply renamed after him after he gave lots of money lie 2 - the statue is not of him because he died before it was built (i was told it was just a random student) lie 3 - i think they got something wrong on the plaque on the statue, possibly the date or something - i can't really remember.
The year was 3 years too early; he was the first benefactor, not founder; he died 200 years before the statue was made and since they had no idea what he looked like (no portraits and all that) they had to make it up hahaha
Do we get any clues at all?
